Terms and conditions apply to projects of all kinds; Helmets, car parts, and motorcycles. The term “project or helmet” is used here in a general sense.
The Monday client (described below) is to be the main form of communication, this portal is easy to follow along with during the whole process. Please keep messages via text, call, and social pages to a minimum. Phone calls can be scheduled through the portal. It is important that all communication is done through the portal to ensure the process goes smoothly. We are not responsible for missed details if communicated otherwise.
Due to the nature of custom paint and art, there is no possible way for us to tell what day a project will start, be done, be ready to ship, etc. (this is the main reason for no due dates or races). Projects are worked on Monday through Friday during hours of operation (7am-5pm) and are worked on in groups of two. Paint groups can take anywhere from 1-3 weeks to complete. All Paint Work is final and we cannot make any changes once paint is applied. We do not offer any details or repairs. You will get directions on how to care for your helmet on delivery. Designs will start when the group ahead exits the design stage and enters the paint stage (visible in the Monday client portal). We ask clients to please be patient during this process and leading up to it. Once projects/helmets are complete, they will need a minimum of 2 days to dry before we can box and ship. Delays related to product availability, material ability, and weather are to be expected. Expect slower dry times during winter months.
Monday Portal works similar to a social app. Here, you can see your spot in line, follow along with project progress and updates. Add all picture examples for inspirations into the files or comment section next to your name. Although some things may switch around; that is to be expected. Once we are able to, that name will automatically move up into the design/paint stage. Outside of Priority projects, the rest of the line should be easy to follow along with. Keep all dialog in the portal respectful and understand that all members of the portal can see all messages being that the board is public. Please use this as the main form of communication, you can also schedule phone calls through here. Anything coming through social apps or text might be missed. Treat the list of client names like a line. A lot of clients get their name in our queue months, sometimes a whole year in advance if they are waiting on a helmet from their manufacturer. Don't be surprised if you see names move around the list, there is usually a reason for this and you are not getting skipped.
Our paint prices are charged by the hour at $75.00 p/h and are based on the minimum amount of time required for each package on average. Each project and client is different and there are really two ways to categorize how expensive a job can be based on each project. Affordable and fast, where there is minimum particularity on design and paint details. Or, expensive and timely, where the job can get as custom as your budget allows. Either way, you can expect to get a one-of-a-kind piece of artwork. If you have a specific budget in mind, please note it in the client info form below. We can then arrange a time to talk about what you can expect for that price. Rush fees will only be applied to projects that we feel like we have to rush through and work outside of hours of operation to accommodate, these will be billed at $150 per hour vs $75.00. These projects will also be sealed in a “speed clear coat” which is not designed for the same durability as our production clear coat. Insured shipping is required on all packages. Expect high costs for next or two-day. Review the section above for costs associated with design render. 50% of your selected package is due at the moment of order to account for the deposit (non-refundable).
